Josh Ayres

CEO

Josh Ayres joined IST Networks in February 2020 as UK Country Manager. In August of the same year IstTek was formed and Josh became CEO. Prior to leading IstTek, Josh held the position of Head of Emerging Technologies at IPI, an Avaya reseller. He also previously worked in various senior leadership roles at Zycus and Datto holding various positions including Regional Sales Director and EMEA Sales & Marketing Director.

Josh has a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Hertfordshire. He lives at home with his wife Louise and Tibetan terrier Coco. In his spare time, he enjoys yachting and has a keen interest in jazz & soul music and can often be found enjoying his favourite bands at concerts and festivals.

Tanya Barnett joined IST Networks in March 2020 to lead the Business Development strategy for the UK. At IstTek, Tanya’s focus is to develop the European Channel Market. After a career & location change she began her career in the Contact Centre and telecoms Industry some fifteen years ago within the sales team of CCT - an Avaya reseller, she then went on to work for Capita IT Services and more recently IPI. Over the years she has worked in a variety of roles covering Business Development Training & Management. She has a passion for building team spirit and enjoys organising events and corporate days to bring the team together.

Outside of work Tanya lives with her husband and two children, she has Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Surrey Institute of Art & Design where she specialised in Fashion Promotion & illustration. She has constantly got a project on the go and enjoys art & painting. She appreciates learning about different cultures and customs which is represented in her love of global cooking.

Boris Najafov

Managing Solutions Consultant

Boris started IST Networks in October 2008, he then joined IstTek in August 2020 as Managing Solutions Consultant. Boris has over 18 years’ experience, 12 of those years he has spent within the contact centre & customer experience arena. Boris, together with his team have designed, built, and implemented some of the largest contact centre systems in the Middle East serving millions of customers daily.

In 2018 Boris wrote his first book ‘Your Call Is Important to Us’ the book is a quick and easy guide to help organisations understand the evolution of the contact centre, the technology used, and customer experience journey. The book was published in early 2020 by Amazon and is available in both paperback and Kindle Edition.

Boris has his degree in automation & control systems from the National Aviation Academy, Baku, Azerbaijan. He currently lives in London with his wife and two children. Boris enjoys triathlon and open water swimming and regularly participates in local and international sport events.
